With all the bad reviews I still tried it anyhow because of the price. I
was impressed with the steel of it. Note, this is not a commerical
crusher. But for everyday house hold use it's fine. If you take your
time and crush the cans they will stay in place. But if you are a
little weak and try to do it fast,then yes the cans will try to slide
out. The only problem would be its takes a little more effort in
crushing thicker cans but thats a given. As far as the height of the
can after its crushes, it does fine. I've never seen one that will
flaten one completey flat anyhow. The end results are a nice size to
store for recycle. I think you'll like this product. For the price you
can't go wrong.
